Student Code of Conduct for Travel on the School Bus
At all times, the safety and wellbeing of the children and the driver is paramount. All children using the bus are under the care, and direction of the driver.
Inappropriate behaviour could be a breach of the Transport Code of Conduct and could create a danger to the wellbeing and safety of everyone on the vehicle.
Any person displaying inappropriate behaviour may be suspended from the bus.
The students will:
- Always comply with the reasonable instructions or directions of the driver.
- Behave in an orderly manner when entering or leaving the bus and during the journey.
- Always speak in a quiet and polite manner.
- Remain in their seats.
- Wear the supplied seatbelt.
- Not talk to nor distract the driver in anyway.
- Refrain from eating and drinking whilst on the bus.
- Never place any part of their body outside the vehicle.
- Never allow any objects to fall from the bus windows nor throw any objects within the bus.
- Never cause any damage to the bus.
